On 16 June 2022, IMCO adopted the provisional agreement on the DSA reached between Parliament and Council on 22 April 2022 during the fifth round of trilogues. The final vote in plenary is planned for July 2022.

At its committee meeting of 16 May 2022, IMCO voted in favour of the provisional agreement on the DMA reached at the final trilogue of 24 March 2022. Together with the Digital Services Act, the DMA makes for a competitive, fair, harmonised, and safer digital single market.
