Upcoming INTA meetings

The next INTA Committee meeting is scheduled to take place on 24-25 January 2024.

Highlights

At its 27-28 November meeting, INTA Members will exchange with Executive Vice-President Dombrovskis on the latest developments in EU trade policy. Members will vote on the CETA implementation report and on opinions on a European Port Strategy, on compulsory licensing, on standard essential patents and on the Partnership Agreement between the EU and the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States.

On 27 November, the INTA committee is organising a public hearing “New approaches to EU Foreign Direct Investment policy: Investment Facilitation Agreements and incentivising investment in the green and digital transitions”.

A delegation of six INTA Members will travel to Hamburg, Germany, on 17 November 2023.

A delegation of five Members of the Committee on International Trade (INTA) will travel to San Francisco and the Bay Area from 30 October to 1 November 2023 to discuss political, trade and investment relations between California and the EU.
