On World Cancer Day, 4 February, BECA launches its online public survey on the impact of the COVID19-pandemic on:
  • cancer prevention
  • health services
  • cancer patients and research.
Gradually it is becoming clear that the COVID19 health crisis has lasting consequences on cancer care services and patients. The survey is addressed to any all interested stakeholders and aims to gather information and evidence on:
  • the immediate and current impacts of the pandemic on cancer care in the EU,
  • the rebuilding of cancer services in Europe and the long-term role
  • means of European cooperation in health and cancer care after COVID19
Interested stakeholders can give their input by filling out the online survey on the BECA website, available from 4 February to 25 February 2021.
The received contributions will be used to inform the final report, because it is crucial to draw lessons from the pandemic to improve cancer services and research and help prepare for future crises.
