COVI Hearing with ECDC, HERA and Chief Epidemiologists from the EU Members States

On 13 July 2022, the COVI Special Committee welcomed the Director of the ECDC, the Director-General of HERA, and the Chief Epidemiologists from five EU Members States to an exchange of views.

Dr Andrea Ammon, Director of the ECDC, and Mr Pierre Delsaux, Director-General of HERA discussed with the Members the main challenges faced by the EU on the COVID-19 pandemic, the steps taken to solve these, and further actions to be taken, including the role and the mandate of the ECDC.
