COVI - Mission to EMA (the Netherlands) and BioNTech (Germany) - September 2022

Special Committee on the COVID-19 pandemic will depart on a mission to European Medicines Agency (EMA) and BioNTech on 21 September. Members will meet with EMA's management and staff to discuss EMA's role in development, evaluation, approval and monitoring of COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics. From Amsterdam the delegation will travel to Mainz in Germany to visit BioNTech's laboratories and find out about the manufacturing process of mRNA vaccines.
