Establishing the 2030 Policy Programme “Path to the Digital Decade”

ITRE is the lead committee on the proposal. The programme formulates targets towards a successful digital transformation, building on four pillars: digital skills of citizens, digital infrastructures and the digitalisation of businesses and public services. Furthermore, the proposal sets out a monitoring and cooperation mechanism, in order to foster cooperation between the Union institutions and Member States as well as to ensure the completeness of the monitoring and reporting by the Union. The deadline for amendments to the draft opinion is on 16 February.
