Hearing on Afghanistan: regional impact after Taliban takeover

On 25 October 2022 the Committee on Foreign Affairs in association with the Delegation for relations with Afghanistan will hold a hearing on Afghanistan: regional impact after Taliban takeover. The hearing aims to examine EU policy towards Afghanistan in light of different positions taken by neighbouring countries and their cooperation with the de facto government. It will also look at the developments as regards the position of women and how their rights can be ensured.
