On Thursday 30 March 2023, ING2 Members will exchange views on the draft report "Recommendations for reform of the European Parliament’s rules on transparency, integrity, accountability and anti-corruption" by ING2 Co-Rapporteurs Mr Vladimír BILČĺK (EPP) and Ms Nathalie LOISEAU (Renew).

The ING2 special committee will start its meeting by a debriefing on its mission to Kyiv, on 20-21 February 2023, which served as way to gain a better understanding of Russia's hybrid warfare tactics and the Ukrainian experience in building resilience to counter Russian interference operations.

The committee will then discuss the draft report presented by co-rapporteurs Mr Vladimír BILČĺK (EPP) and Ms Nathalie LOISEAU (Renew) setting "Recommendations for reform of the European Parliament's rules on transparency, integrity, accountability and anti-corruption". This draft report was drawn up following the Qatargate revelations, which last December shook the walls of this institution, showing us how permeable our democracies can be to corruption from foreign powers.
