On 2 September, INTA Members will exchange with Ditte Juul Jørgensen, the recently appointed new Director-General of DG Trade, on the state of play and trajectory of EU trade policy. Members will also hold an exchange with Yasushi Masaki, Deputy Secretary-General of OECD, on the recently released 2026 MAGIC Database of Industrial Subsidies report, with a focus on China.

On 2 September 2026, the Committees on International Trade (INTA), Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE), and Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) will hold a joint public hearing to support their legislative work on the Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA). The hearing will bring together leading experts and industry stakeholders to discuss two key aspects of the proposal.
