The next INTA Committee meeting is scheduled to take place on 7 December 13:45-15:45. The meeting will take place in Antall 4Q2 and with remote participation. The meeting will be web-streamed.
In the context of the exponential growth of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the President of the European Parliament has announced a number of measures to contain the spread of epidemic and to safeguard Parliament's core activities. The current precautionary measures do not affect work on legislative priorities. Core activities are reduced, but maintained to ensure that the institution's legislative, budgetary, scrutiny functions are maintained.
The meetings will be with remote participation for Members (being able to view and listen to proceedings, and intervene in the meeting).
Other participants are invited to follow the meeting through webstreaming.
INTA will hold two separate committee meetings on 7 December and 10 December. The INTA meeting on 7 December will be fully dedicated to the public hearing on how trade policy measures can help the EU achieve the goals it set for itself in the Green Deal.
At its meeting of 30 November and 1 December, which is heavily focused on the EU's global network of trade agreements, INTA will hold an in camera exchange of views with Sabine Weyand, Director-General of DG Trade on all on-going negotiations.
