ITRE Committee meetings
The next ITRE committee meetings will take place in Brussels on:
- Wednesday, 10 September, from 9.00 to 12.30
- Monday, 28 September, from 14.30 to 17.30
Highlights
On 10 September, the Committee of Industry, Energy and Research will hold an exchange of views with the Director-designate of the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), Mr Christof Lessenich. Before the appointment, the candidate selected by ACER Administrative Board must appear before the competent committee of the European Parliament to make a statement and answer questions from its Members.
The Committee on Industry, Research and Energy will hold a debate with Commissioner Ekaterina Zaharieva, responsible for startups, research and innovation, on the upcoming European Innovation Act.
The Committee on Industry, Research and Energy will adopt its report on revised TEN-E Regulation on 10 September.
