Nela Riehl elected Chair of the Committee on Culture and Education

Nela Riehl (Greens/EFA, DE) was elected by secret ballot as the Chair of the Committee on Culture and Education at its constitutive meeting on 23 July. CULT also elected its 1st Vice-Chair, Bogdan Zdrojewski (EPP, PL), 2nd Vice-Chair, Emma Rafowicz (S&D, FR), 3rd Vice-Chair, Diana Riba i Giner (Greens/EFA, ES), and 4th Vice-Chair, Hristo Petrov (Renew, BG), by acclamation. Together, the Chair and Vice-Chairs make up the Bureau of the Committee, elected for a two-and-a-half year term.
