PEGA: Exchange of views on a European Security Lab / Research centre on spyware

On 9 March PEGA committee held an exchange of views on a European Security Lab / Research centre on spyware. The need to create a European Tech Centre modelled after what Citizen Lab and Amnesty International have put in place has been raised at several instances in the PEGA Committee discussions. The purpose of exchange was to come back with more precise answers to questions of how and what to have in the set up of such centre.
Prof. Dr Giovanni Sartor made a presentation on this topic; in addition an expert from Amnesty International's security lab has been invited to share his experience on such a centre and the criteria to take into account to create such centre.
