The JURI, TRAN and ITRE Committees held a hearing on 24 March, from 16.00 to 18.00, in room PHS 03C050, entitled "Time to Revisit Summer Time". The hearing considered recent research findings on the effects of daylight saving on different aspects of the economy, but also on health and safety. The hearing also addressed major issues in connection with better regulation, subsidiarity and proportionality.
