Vote on due diligence and exchange of views with Portuguese Minister of Justice

On 27 January 2021, the JURI Committee voted on the report on due diligence, on the codification on Control of the acquisition of weapons, on the opinion in letter form on UK agreement and on the opinions on European Strategy for data and on 2019 discharge General budget of the EU-European Commission. The Members also exchanged views with the Portuguese Minister of Justice who presented the priorities of Portuguese Presidency.

The Members also considered amendments to the report on Liability of companies for environmental damage. They also considered the opinion on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to carcinogens or mutagens at work and the opinion on on the application of the provisions of the Aarhus Convention on Access to Information, Public Participation in Decision-making and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters to Community institutions and bodies.
