Public Hearing with Claudia Buch, Chair of the Supervisory Board of the ECB

The ECON Committee held a public hearing with Claudia Buch, Chair of the Supervisory Board of the ECB on Monday, 13 October 2025. This was the second ordinary public hearing in 2025 under the Regulation on the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM Regulation) and the Interinstitutional Agreement between the European Parliament and the ECB.
Ms Buch elaborated in her introductory statement on recent stress test results, efficient supervision, and the importance of the integrated regulatory framework. An exchange of views with ECON Members followed.
