The French Presidency presents its policy priorities on the 26 and 27 January

Two French ministers came to CULT Committee on the 26 and 27 January to present the policy priorities of the French Presidency in the fields of culture, education, youth and sports.

Ministers Roselyne Bachelot and Frederique Vidal analyzed some of the essential political priorities of the Presidency, which will be looking for ways to reinforce intercultural exchanges, to boost the European Cultural and creative industries and facilitate access to culture. As far as higher education is concerned, the French Presidency will seek to reinforce teachers mobility and European Universities initiative in the context of the European Education Area, to be completed by 2025.

On 7 February, Minister Jean Michel Blanquer will cover the priorities in the fields of youth and sports.
