The Seventh Recovery and Resilience Dialogue

On Monday 12 September 2022, from 19:45 – 21:45, Members from the Committee on Budgets and the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs held the 7th Recovery and Resilience Dialogue with Valdis Dombrovskis, Executive Vice-President for an Economy that Works for People and Paolo Gentiloni, Commissioner for Economy.
Also in light of the recent publication of the Commission's Review Report on the implementation of the RRF, the Dialogue focused on the state of play of RRF implementation in particular as regards Commission's assessment of national recovery and resilience plans submitted by Member States, payments requests by Member States and assessments by the Commission of the agreed milestones and targets. The Commissioners also addressed the RRF's role in increasing resilience of Member States' economies and thus contributing to the mitigation of the consequences of the Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The Recovery and Resilience Dialogue is organised under Article 26 of the Regulation establishing the Recovery and Resilience Facility to ensure greater transparency and accountability in implementation of the Facility.
