Czech EU Presidency - presentation of priorities - 12.7.22

On Tuesday, 12 July 2022, the FEMM Committee discussed with Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Marian Jurečka, the priorities of the Czech Presidency 2022 mainly focusing on the consequences of war in Ukraine.

Mr. Marian Jurečka, Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, presented in FEMM on 12 July the priorities of the Czech Presidency. The Presidency will deal with the urgent task of facing the refugee crisis and working for Ukraine's post-war reconstruction. Protection of women and children from war-affected Ukraine will be a priority, their access to education or women's access to the labour market, as well as mobilisation of all available resources and expertise and their coordinated use.
