On 19 March, Members of SANT Committee will hear a presentation by the representatives of Commission on its 4-year assessment of the implementation of the Europe's Beating Cancer Plan, which will be followed by a debate.

On 19 March, Members of SANT committee will hold an exchange of views with Niklas Blomberg, Executive Director, Innovative Health Initiative.

Public consultations of the Committee on Public Health on Rare diseases and Women’s health

On 3 March, Members of the SANT Committee held an exchange of views with the representatives of two working groups who focused on work of the Strategic Report.

On 3 March, Americo B. Zampetti, Minister Counsellor for Global Health and SPS issues at the Delegation of the European Union to the United Nations, presented to SANT Members the progress of the negotiations on the Pandemic Accord as well as the proposal for a Council Decision authorising Member States to accept the amendments to the International Health Regulations.

Exchange of views with Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization has been postponed to the later date.

In the morning of 20 February, Members of the SANT Committee held an exchange of views with Izabela Leszczyna, Minister of Health, on the priorities of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the field of public health.
