ECON-LIBE public hearing on anti-money laundering

On Wednesday 1st of December from 10:00 to 12:00, ECON and LIBE Committees will have a joint public hearing on anti-money laundering, with 2 panels.


  • Panel 1 - Exchanges on the new AML package (including the risks of crypto assets);
  • Panel 2 - Towards a better enforcement of AML rules.
ECON and LIBE Members will exchange with speakers from the European Commission, the Court of Auditors, Europol, as well as a representative of a think tank. ECON and LIBE Committees have requested to co-lead the AML legislative package.
