Exchange of views with OLAF Director General and OLAF Supervisory Committee
On 28.10.2020, the Committee on Budgetary Control held an exchange of views with Mr. Ville Itälä, OLAF Director General about the OLAF Annual Report 2019 and with the Chairman of the Supervisory Committee, Mr. Jan Mulder, about the OLAF SC Annual Activity Report 2019.
This year, not being able to organize a physical event for the presentation of their Annual Report , OLAF has produced a short film presenting the highlights of OLAF's work in 2019 and its constant efforts to fight against fraud and protect the EU money. The CONT Committee was also given a presentation of the OLAF SC Opinion 1/2020: OLAF's dismissed cases concerning Members of the EU Institutions by the Chairman of the Supervisory committee, Mr Jan Mulder.
