On 26 January a joint hearing on "Recent Cases of Foreign Interference in the European Parliament - Allegations of Corruption" will take place from 14.00 to 17.00. It will be organised by the Special Committee on Foreign Interference (ING2), jointly with the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) and the Subcommittee on Security and Defence (SEDE).

On Thursday 12 January 2023 starting at 9.00, Members will exchange views on the draft report by ING2 Rapporteur Ms Sandra Kalniete, which follows up on the implementation of the previous report and aims to close legislative loopholes that could be exploited by foreign interference. In the second part of the meeting, Members will hear about the main findings of the study entitled “Legal Loopholes and the Risk of Foreign Interference”.
