The INTA hearing, scheduled for 7 December, will focus on the trade policy measures that can help the EU to achieve the goals it set for itself in the Green Deal. To discuss with MEPs, INTA invited Ms Sandrine Dixson-Declève, Co-President of the Club of Rome, Professor Olivier De Schutter, UN Special rapporteur for extreme poverty and human rights, Ms Luisa Santos, Deputy Director-General, Business Europe and Mr Wendel Trio, Director of the Climate Action Network.

The debate will shed light how trade policy could be an enabler towards a climate neutral, resource efficient and circular global economy and support the achievement of the Green Deal and Sustainable Development Goals.
