PEGA: Hearing on 'Spyware - Victims and Remedies'

Parliament is calling for a stricter control on exports of “dual-use goods”,  in particular civilian technologies that could be used by authoritarian regimes to spy on citizens.

On 30 August PEGA committee organized a hearing on 'Spyware - Victims and Remedies'. Hearing focused on effect on victims of spyware and whether such persons that suspect that their rights have been violated by the use of spyware have access to effective remedy.
