2021 discharges (European Commission & EIGE) - votes - 25.01.23

On Wednesday, 25 January 2023, FEMM Members considered two draft opinions on the 2021 discharges: for the general budget (European Commission) and for the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), respectively.
In the draft opinion on the 2021 discharge for the general budget of the EU, the rapporteur welcomed the Commission's work on a new classification to measure gender impact and regretted the lack of specific budget lines for measures dedicated to gender equality.
In the draft opinion on the 2021 discharge for the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) the rapporteur asked for more staff and resources to be allocated to EIGE.
