On 26 January 2021, FISC Members had an exchange of views with Dr. Jeremy Green, Lecturer in International Political Economy at Cambridge University and Dr. Pasquale Pistone, IBFD Academic Chairman on the post-Brexit fight against tax evasion and avoidance. In particular, they will examine how Brexit is expected to affect Code of Conduct’s future assessment of the UK, its overseas territories and crown dependencies.

In addition, FISC members will have the chance to address the consequences of Brexit as regards the level playing field in the tax area. On this subject, Mr Benjamin Angel, Director TAXUD, European Commission, Prof. John Vella, Professor of Taxation Law at the University of Oxford, Prof. Judith Freedman, Professor of Tax Law and Policy, Mr Daniel Dalton, Chair of the British Chamber of Commerce and Mr Alex Cobham, Chief Executive of the Tax Justice Network will share their perspective.
