Christine studied architecture in Athens, Michele went to Budapest - both as Erasmus students. They are part of a generation whose life was shaped by the Erasmus programme.

Erasmus+ is the EU's programme to support education, training, youth and sport in Europe. Merging seven prior programmes, it offers opportunities not only for students, but also for a wide variety of individuals and organisations, helping them develop, share knowledge and have a life-changing experience at institutions and organisations in different countries. From 2014-2020, more than 4 million people will have taken part.

European Solidarity Corps

The European Solidarity Corps is the European Union programme which creates opportunities for young people to volunteer or work in projects in their own country or abroad that benefit communities and people around Europe. It brings together young people to build a more inclusive society, supporting vulnerable people and responding to societal challenges. It offers an inspiring and empowering experience for young people who want to help, learn and develop.

The Creative Europe programme promotes European cultural and artistic value, and provides support to small to medium sized enterprises, non-profit organisations and public bodies of the cultural and creative sectors. It helps artists and creators to grow their ideas and share them at a European level. It encourages sustainable growth and jobs, and gives creative organisations access to international opportunities, markets and audiences.
