Komisja może zorganizować przesłuchanie z udziałem biegłych, jeśli uzna to za niezbędne w pracach dotyczących określonej tematyki. Przesłuchania mogą również wspólnie zorganizować dwie komisje lub więcej. Większość komisji organizuje okresowe przesłuchania, gdyż umożliwiają one wysłuchanie biegłych oraz omówienie kwestii o podstawowym znaczeniu.
