On 8 April, the TRAN Committee will vote on a report by Mr Danielsson (S&D, Sweden) on the Commission proposal to update rules for vehicle registration documents and data storage and exchange between Member States, which forms part of the “roadworthiness package”.

During the TRAN Committee meeting on 8 April, TRAN Members will meet European Coordinators Catherine Trautmann (North Sea - Baltic), Pawel Wojciechowski (North Sea - Rhine - Mediterranean), and Matthias Ruete (European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS)) to discuss the current developments on these corridors of the trans-European transport network (TEN-T).

During the TRAN Committee meeting on 18 March, Ms A. Turtelboom, a Member of the European Court of Auditors (ECA), presented ECA Special Report 02/2026, “EU transport infrastructure: Further delays and some cost increases, but a reinforced governance framework is in place for the future (an update of ECA Special Report 10/2020)”.
