On 8 April, Rapporteur Piotr Müller (ECR) presented his own-initiative report on public procurement. He said that public procurement should promote innovation while remaining technologically neutral and not overly aligned with the Green Deal. The Rapporteur outlined four key priorities, namely that of enhancing better access for SMEs by dividing tenders into smaller lots and fully digitalising procurement processes.
