2019 Discharge: Hearing with the Secretary-General of the European Parliament

Europe has faced major challenges over the past six months but is looking forward and investing in long-term solutions. To tackle the fallout of Covid-19, the EU released unprecedented funds to support people, jobs and research. To face the climate emergency, Parliament continued its fight for greener politics and more ambitious goals.

On 16.11.2020, the CONT committee held an exchange of views in the framework of the 2019 discharge procedure with the Secretary-General of the European Parliament, Klaus Welle, the Vice-President of the European Parliament responsible for the budget, Pedro Silva Pereira, the Internal Auditor of the European Parliament, Robert Galvin and the Director of the Authority for European Political Parties and Foundations, Michael Adam, in the presence of the ECA Member, François-Roger Cazala.
