Meeting dedicated to the election of a new Chair and two Vice-Chairs.

Were elected:

• Chair Hildegard BENTELE (EPP, Germany)
• 1st Vice-Chair Bert-Jan RUISSEN (ECR, Netherlands)
• 2nd Vice-Chair Dan NICA (S-D, Romania)
  

The meeting was held in camera and featured an exchange of views with Dimiter Tzantchev, Ambassador of the European Union to Israel, on the situation in Israel and the region.

The Delegation for relations with Israel in the 10th Parliamentary term was constituted on 30 September 2024. Members elected Daniel Caspary (EPP, Germany) to chair the delegation. Two Vice-Chairs will be elected at a later stage.
