Next D-IQ meeting Thursday 16 April 2026 from 11.30 - 12.30 (in camera)
The next meeting of the Delegation for relations with Iraq (D-IQ) will take place Thursday, 16 April 2026 from 11.30-12.30 in meeting room SPAAK 6B54 and will be held in camera.
During the first plenary sitting in Strasbourg of the newly-elected Parliament, MEPs approved the proposal on the number and numerical strength of the interparliamentary delegations. The constitutive meeting of the Delegation for relations with Iraq took place on Wednesday 16 October 2024. MEP Ioan-Rares BOGDAN (EPP, Romania) was elected Chair of the Delegation. MEP Evin INCIR (S&D, SE) elected as 1st Vice Chair and MEP Nicola ZINGARETTI (S&D, IT) elected as 2nd Vice Chair.
In order to facilitate a swift start into the new legislative term, the Parliament has prepared for the new Members a series of brochures providing detailed information on the EP's role in the external policies of the EU as well as the work of parliamentary standing delegations.
