The European Union - Serbia Stabilisation and Association Parliamentary Committee (SAPC) held its 16th meeting in the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 12 and 13 February 2025. The meeting was co-chaired by Mr Loucas FOURLAS (Chair of the European Parliament Delegation) and Mr Milimir VUJADINOVIĆ (Chair of the Delegation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia).

The agenda included the following items:

• State of play of the accession negotiations and EU - Serbia relations, in the presence of officials from the Government of Serbia and EU Institutions
• State of Play of Cluster 1 - Fundamentals, with a focus on democracy and freedom of expression
• State of play of Cluster 4 - Green Agenda, with a focus on environment and climate change
• CFSP alignment as a driver for Serbia's EU integration process
• EU-facilitated Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina
• Economic development

The SAPC also held an exchange of views with:

• Ms Tanja MIŠČEVIĆ, Minister of European Integration, on behalf of the Government of Serbia
• Mr Paweł ŁĄCKI, Chair of the Council Working Party on Enlargement, on behalf of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the EU
• Mr Jiri PLECITY, Head of Unit for Serbia and Kosovo*, Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood, on behalf of the European Commission
• Mr Ivo SCHUTTE, Deputy Head of Division 'Western Balkans', on behalf of the European External Action Service
