On 24 February 2026, the Subcommittee on Human Rights and the Delegation for Relations with the United States (D-US) held an exchange of views on the EU's role in upholding human rights in its external action, even with traditional allied countries, in particular, the case of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
On 28 January 2026, the Delegation for relations with the United States, in association with the Committee on Foreign Affairs, had an exchange of views with the US Ambassador to the EU, Mr Andrew Puzder. Members and the Ambassador raised a range of issues underpinning the transatlantic partnership, such as AI and EU digital regulation, security and defence, and trade.
The 90th EU-US Inter-Parliamentary Meeting (IPM) of the Transatlantic Legislators Dialogue (TLD) was held on 14 and 15 June 2025 in Warsaw, Poland. Eleven Members of the European Parliament and seven Members of the US House of Representatives came together to discuss the major issues that are central to EU-US relations today.
