40th EU-Norway IPM took place in Brussels on 23 March 2026
Delegates from the Norwegian Parliament (Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee) and the DEEA met for the 40th time for their annual inter-parliamentary meeting, to discuss a number of very topical issues, including:
- Multi-Annual Financial Framework
- EU-Norway energy cooperation
- Enhancing trade relations and competitiveness
- EU-Norway fisheries relationship
- Security and defence cooperation

In order to facilitate a swift start into the new legislative term, the Parliament has prepared for the new Members a series of brochures providing a detailed information on the EP's role in the external policies of the EU as well as the work of parliamentary standing delegations.
