Constitutive Meeting on 3 October 2024

The Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean held its constitutive meeting on Thursday 3 October 2024.

The following Members were elected to the Assembly's five standing committees and working group:

• Giuseppe ANTOCI (LEFT, Italy), Chair of the PA-UfM Committee on Political Affairs security and Human Rights.

• Denis NESCI (ECR, Italy), Vice-Chair of the PA-UfM Committee on Energy, Environment and Water.

• Leoluca ORLANDO (GREENS, Italy), Vice-Chair of the PA-UfM Committee on Improving Quality of Life, Exchanges Between Civil Societies & Culture.

• Maria NOICHL (S&D, Germany), Vice-Chair of the PA-UfM Committee on Women's Rights in Euro-Mediterranean Countries and Chair of the PA-UfM Working Group on Rules and Financing the Assembly.

• Nikolina BRNJAC (EPP, Croatia), Vice-Chair of the PA-UfM Committee on Economic & Financial Affairs, Social Affairs & Education.

• Maria NOICHL (S&D, Germany), Chair of the PA-UfM Working Group on Rules and Financing of the Assembly
