Delegation visit to Washington D.C. to meet Congress Members and stakeholders

The Chair of the Delegation for relations with the US (D-US) together with the Committee on Foreign Affairs' Standing Rapporteur on EU-US relations travelled to Washington D.C. on 18 March for a two-day visit.

On the delegation's programme were meetings with Members of Congress, the US Trade Representative, business leaders, think tankers, as well as a visit to the Supreme Court. The aim of the delegation was to keep up the transatlantic dialogue on the most critical issues for both sides, including the ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East, trade, critical raw materials, among others.

The Chair of the D-US will debrief Members of the delegation on the visit at the next D-US meeting (date to be confirmed).
