5th EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly, 17-18 March 2025, Brussels
The fifth meeting of the EU-UK Parliamentary Partnership Assembly (PPA) took place in Brussels on 17 and 18 March 2025, in room SPINELLI 3E2.
Members exchanged views on the Future of EU-UK foreign and security policy cooperation, Youth Opportunities, and Trade, customs and sanitary and phytosanitary measures.
Commissioner Šefčovič and Paymaster General and Minister for the Cabinet Office, Rt Hon Nick Thomas-Symonds MP, addressed the Plenary on the State of Play within the Partnership Council.
Three break-out groups were organised for more informal discussions around:
- AI and data protection
- Climate and energy cooperation
- Regulatory cooperation in financial services.
The Break-out groups sessions were held in camera.
