The Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) held a meeting semi-remotely with MEPs and the EEAS in association with the Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly (DLAT) on 4 February 2021. The debate focused on the State of play of EU-Latin America relations (focusing in particular on Colombia, Bolivia, Chile and Peru).

During this meeting of the Delegation to the Euro-Latin American Parliamentary Assembly (DLAT) on 22 June 2020, the following item was discussed: Exchange of views on the impact of COVID-19 pandemic for EU-LAC relations
with Edita Hrdá, Managing Director for the Americas at the EEAS and the Ambassador of Mexico to the UE, H.E. Mauricio Escanero, on behalf of the Presidency Pro Tempore (PPT) of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).
