DRAFT EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION

on the proposal for a directive of the European Parliament and of the Council on the field of vision and windscreen wipers for wheeled agricultural or forestry tractors (codified version)

The European Parliament,

–   having regard to the Commission proposal to the European Parliament and the Council (COM(2006)0651),

–   having regard to Article 251(2) and Article 95 of the EC Treaty, pursuant to which the Commission submitted the proposal to Parliament (C6-0377/2006),

–   having regard to the Interinstitutional Agreement of 20 December 1994 – Accelerated working method for official codification of legislative texts[1],

–   having regard to Rules 80, 51 and 43(1) of its Rules of Procedure,

–   having regard to the report of the Committee on Legal Affairs (A6-0050/2007),

1.  Approves the Commission proposal;

2.  Instructs its President to forward its position to the Council and the Commission.
