Draft European Parliament decision to raise no objections to Commission Delegated Regulation supplementing Regulation (EU) No 223/2014 of 11 March 2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived

The European Parliament,
– having regard to Commission Delegated Regulation C(2014)1627,
– having regard to the Commission’s letter of 13 March 2014 asking Parliament to declare that it will raise no objections to the delegated regulation,
– having regard to Article 290 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,
– having regard to Regulation (EU) No 223/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 2014 on the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived[1], and in particular to Articles 32(8), 32(9), 34(7), 34(8) and 55(4) thereof,
– having regard to Rule 87a(6) of its Rules of Procedure,
A. whereas it has repeatedly stressed that it is essential for the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived to become operational without delay;
1. Declares that it has no objections to the delegated regulation;
2. Instructs its President to forward this decision to the Council and the Commission.
