9. Υπογραφή πράξεων που εγκρίνονται κατά τη συνήθη νομοθετική διαδικασία (άρθρο 81 του Κανονισμού)

  President. – I'd like to inform you that since the adjournment of Parliament's session on 19 September, I have signed, together with the President of the Council, one act adopted under the ordinary legislative procedure in accordance with Rule 81 of Parliament's Rules.

I'd also like to inform you that on Wednesday I shall sign, together with the President of the Council, three acts adopted under the ordinary legislative procedure. The titles of the acts will be published in the minutes of this sitting.

I also like to inform the House that I have received multiple requests for points of order, and I will now give the floor to colleagues in the order that I received them, starting with Jean-Paul Garraud.

  Jean-Paul Garraud (PfE). – Madame la Présidente, mes chers collègues, je souhaite effectuer un rappel au règlement sur la base de l'article 10, paragraphe 1, du règlement intérieur du Parlement européen. Lundi 30 septembre, l'une de nos collègues à l'extrême gauche de cet hémicycle co-organisait une journée de conférence avec l'association Femyso au sein du Parlement à Bruxelles. Ce n'est pas la première fois que cette organisation proche des Frères musulmans s'est livrée dans les locaux du Parlement à un véritable exercice de prosélytisme. Malgré nos nombreuses mises en garde et le courrier que je vous ai adressé, Madame la Présidente, le 24 septembre dernier, le Parlement continue d'accepter la tenue de ces événements qui compromettent gravement la réputation de notre institution, à l'heure où de nombreux pays dans le monde, mais aussi en Europe, font face à l'islamisme.

Alors que nous commémorons aujourd'hui même l'épouvantable attaque terroriste menée par le Hamas contre Israël, il est grand temps que notre Parlement cesse de servir de tribune à toutes les organisations liées de près ou de loin à l'islamisme. Aucune naïveté ni aucune complaisance ne peuvent être acceptées envers ces militants. Je vous demande, Madame la Présidente, d'interdire à l'avenir la venue de toute organisation liée de près ou de loin à l'islamisme au sein de notre institution.

  Petras Auštrevičius (Renew). – Madam President, dear colleagues, on 3 October, the Lithuanian Parliament designated the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a terrorist organisation. Those activities pose a threat to international security and stability, as the regime in Tehran increasingly and consistently pursues a hostile policy towards the domestic opposition, persecuting and repressing opponents – including women – and poses a clear threat to regional and international security by providing arms to Russia to continue its war of aggression against Ukraine and the recent missile attacks against Israel.

Dear colleagues, I call on the European Union to follow this recent decision and to add Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to the EU list of terrorist organisations.

  Alice Teodorescu Måwe (PPE). – Fru talman! I egenskap av ny parlamentariker är jag förvånad och förbannad över den ängslighet jag som mött bland folkvalda här.

I dag är det den 365:e sjunde oktober, och vi minns den värsta pogromen sedan Förintelsen. Över hundra oskyldiga människor, varav flera småbarn, sitter fortfarande gisslan i Gaza, och parlamentet har fortfarande inte antagit en enda resolution som enbart handlar om gisslan. Varför var det omöjligt att ha en resolution om attacken denna session? Varför är det omöjligt att diskutera indraget bistånd till en organisation som återkommande uppdagas ha kopplingar till Hamas, eller att terrorstämpla hela Hizbollah?

Jag skäms över Europaparlamentets vacklande. Denna kamp som Israel för är hela västvärldens; en kamp för en civilisation som kan skilja gott från ont, offer från förövare. Att Hamas skulle vara kapabla till de mest omänskliga av övergrepp kommer knappast som en överraskning. Men att västvärlden skulle vara fullt av antisemitiska terrorkramare och ängsliga politiker förvånar desto mer. Historiens dom kommer att bli hård.

  Marie Toussaint (Verts/ALE). – Madame la Présidente, chers collègues, il y a quelques jours, Ursula von der Leyen nous a annoncé le report d'un an de la loi européenne sur la déforestation, que nous avions adoptée, ici même, à une très large majorité.

Vous savez, chaque minute, ce sont dix terrains de football de forêt qui disparaissent dans le monde. Si l'on prend le nombre de minutes dans une année et le chiffre selon lequel l'Union européenne est responsable de 16 % de la déforestation, ce sont, tenez-vous bien, 841 536 terrains de football qui vont disparaître pendant l'année qui vient. N'est-ce donc rien à vos yeux? Alors que cet été, nous apprenions l'effondrement des puits de carbone mondiaux, le Brésil, la Bolivie, le Kurdistan turc et le Portugal ont encore brûlé.

Je veux dire à la droite de cet hémicycle, qui râle quand je soulève cette question, et aux lobbies que ça suffit! Votre guerre contre le pacte vert, votre volonté de tout détricoter et de mener la guerre à la nature, ne fera qu'accélérer le chaos climatique et porter atteinte aux populations du monde.

  Tomáš Zdechovský (PPE). – Madam President, I would like only to explain to new colleagues that a point of order is a special procedure where you can react to some order that we will discuss here, not for political speeches. If you want to take the floor for political speeches, you can use the one-minute speeches.

  President. – If we had to apply this rule extremely strictly to everyone, there would be very, very few points that would be made at the beginning of each session.

  Sara Matthieu (Verts/ALE). – Madam President, I would like to raise a point of order. Tomorrow we are going to have the debate on the current problems in the automotive industry, including the plant closures, and the need to enhance our competitiveness and, of course, maintain jobs in Europe. So we, as the Greens/EFA Group, have requested to add the following words to the title: 'and the tariffs on Chinese EVs'.

I think it's clear to everyone that those tariffs and our response to China actually constitute a key component in alleviating the current dire situation of the automotive sector by creating a level playing field.

But while you have declared this request inadmissible, I would strongly disagree. I think it's last week only that the Council gave the green light to the Commission to actually activate the anti-subsidy import duties on the EVs originating from China. It's an event that actually took place after the CoP meeting, and I would say it's very actual and recent developments. So I would urge you to reconsider adding the tariffs to the title.

  President. – To clarify, there is a new Rule in our Rules of Procedure called Rule 164, which is very arduously applied, and it is precisely for us to be able to have a little bit of control on the agenda and what is included, especially on the Monday. So this specific point could fall under Rule 164, Ms Matthieu, and what I would suggest is that for your group, if it wants to bring it back, to bring it back to the next plenary.
