  Marian Harkin (ALDE). – Mr President, this is an oral amendment to replace the words ‘improving compatibility of school hours with working hours’ with ‘improving the compatibility of working hours with school hours’.

  Philip Bushill-Matthews (PPE-DE), rapporteur. – Mr President, I would like to say that, as rapporteur, I initially did not think this made any difference to the text. Having looked at it, however, I think it does improve the text so, personally, I am in favour.
