5.3. Fluorinated greenhouse gases (vote)

- Before the vote:

  Avril Doyle (PPE-DE), rapporteur. – Mr President, in the light of a declaration put on the record of this House last night by the Commission, during the plenary debate on the regulation on certain fluorinated gases, the text of which was not introduced during conciliation, and which compromises the spirit of the conciliation agreement and shows great disrespect and disregard for the clear will of Parliament and the Council, I should like to request a postponement of the vote on the two reports on fluorinated gases, at least until tomorrow.

  Hannes Swoboda (PSE). – (DE) Mr President, my group would very much welcome that as a way of enabling us to sort matters out by tomorrow, but if they are not, a further postponement will be necessary. We should, at any rate, be able to make good use of the time.
