6.5. Upamiętnienie rewolucji węgierskiej z 1956 roku (głosowanie)

- Antes de la votación sobre el Considerando J:

  Michael Cramer (Verts/ALE). – Herr Präsident, meine Damen und Herren! In der vorliegenden Entschließung wird eine Verbindung der ungarischen Revolution zu den anderen Widerstandskämpfen in Osteuropa hergestellt. Dabei wird der Aufstand vom 17. Juni 1953 in der DDR nicht berücksichtigt, als in mehr als 700 Städten und Gemeinden Streiks und Demonstrationen stattfanden, die durch sowjetische Panzer beendet wurden. Deshalb möchte ich in Erwägung J Folgendes einfügen:

‘recognising the historical and political link between the Hungarian Revolution in October 1956 and various other forms of resistance and resistance movements, such as the mass demonstrations in East Germany in June 1953, the Poznań demonstrations in Poland in June 1956, the Prague Spring of 1968, the birth of the Solidarity Movement in Poland in 1980 and democracy movements in the former USSR, notably those of the Baltic peoples;’
