  Der Präsident. Der endgültige Entwurf der Tagesordnung dieser Tagung, wie er in der Konferenz der Präsidenten in ihrer Sitzung vom Donnerstag, dem 19. April 2007, gemäß Artikel 130 und 131 der Geschäftsordnung festgelegt wurde, ist verteilt worden. Zu diesem Entwurf wurden folgende Änderungen beantragt:

Montag:

Die Sozialdemokratische Fraktion hat beantragt, die Abstimmung über den Bericht von Herrn Sánchez Presedo über das Grünbuch: Schadensersatzklagen wegen Verletzung des EU-Wettbewerbsrechts (A6-0133/2007) auf Mittwoch, 11.30 Uhr, zu verschieben.

  Antolín Sánchez Presedo (PSE), Ponente. – Éste es un informe fruto de la cooperación reforzada entre la Comisión de Asuntos Económicos y Monetarios y la Comisión de Asuntos Jurídicos. Se va a debatir esta noche a última hora y hay algunas enmiendas que nos gustaría considerar para tratar que el informe se beneficie del máximo consenso.

Ésta es la razón por la que pediría la posposición de la votación hasta el miércoles, señor Presidente.

Mittwoch:

Die Fraktion der Liberalen im Europäischen Parlament hat beantragt, die Abstimmung über den Bericht von Sharon Bowles über Basisinformationen für Kaufkraftparitäten (A6-077/2007) auf Donnerstag, 12.00 Uhr, zu verschieben.

  Sharon Bowles (ALDE), rapporteur. – Mr President, I can be very brief. This is just because we received a legal opinion from Parliament’s Legal Service very late on Friday and we need to make a few comparisons with the text agreed with the Council.

Die Sozialdemokratische Fraktion hat beantragt, dass zum Abschluss der Aussprache über die Erklärung der Kommission über die Stärkung der europäischen Rechtsvorschriften im Bereich der Unterrichtung und Anhörung der Arbeitnehmer Entschliessungsanträge eingereicht werden können. Über die Texte soll in der nächsten Sitzung abgestimmt worden.

  Stephen Hughes (PSE). – Mr President, we are delighted that there will be a statement on Wednesday evening from Commissioner Špidla on information and consultation. We would certainly like an opportunity to table a motion for a resolution to recall the often-repeated position of this Parliament: we think that the European Works Council Directive needs to be reviewed. We understand the position of our Liberal colleagues, however. They would prefer to hear what the Commissioner has to say before pinning themselves down to a resolution. We therefore request that the motion for a resolution be attached to the statement, but not voted on until the next mini-session in Brussels.

  Gunnar Hökmark (PPE-DE). – Mr President, we are against the motion for a resolution and whether we should link it to the Brussels part-session, because we take the view that important issues should be dealt with in committee. We have committees in order to make the decisions of Parliament strong, important and reliable and therefore we stick to that. An important issue should be dealt with in committee. That is why we have committees in this Parliament.
