Joint motion for a resolution: EU-Russia summit (RC-B6-0434/2007)

– Before the vote:

  Konrad Szymański (UEN). – Panie Przewodniczący! Chciałbym zwrócić uwagę na fakt, że po spotkaniu w sprawie kompromisowej wersji tej rezolucji mieliśmy dosłownie 16 minut na to, by zgłosić poprawki i przejrzeć efekt naszej pracy. Uważam, że taka sytuacja podważa prawo każdego członka tej Izby i każdej grupy politycznej w tej Izbie, do tego by swobodnie wpływać, między innymi przez zgłaszanie poprawek, na teksty naszych rezolucji.

Bardzo proszę, by taka sytuacja nie powtórzyła się w przyszłości.

  Ria Oomen-Ruijten, namens de PPE-DE-Fractie. – Mijnheer de Voorzitter, ik zou willen verzoeken om paragraaf 6 als volgt te veranderen. Daarvoor is dan een stemming in onderdelen nodig. De eerste zin moet komen te luiden:

‘emphasises that the situation in Chechnya continues to be a point of dissent in the relations between the EU and Russia’

in plaats van de huidige tekst. De rapporteur gaat akkoord.

– Before the vote on paragraph 23

  Ria Oomen-Ruijten, namens de PPE-DE-Fractie. – Voorzitter, wij moeten de praktijk laten spreken, en de Top over de overvliegende vliegtuigen. Die heeft niet plaatsgevonden, dus wij vragen om de verwijzing hiernaar in de tekst te vervangen door een verwijzing naar de volgende top.

– Before the vote on recital O:

  Hannes Swoboda, on behalf of the PSE Group. – Mr President, we speak about frozen conflicts. We mention two conflicts – Abkhazia and South Ossetia – but I would like, on behalf of my Group, to introduce after ‘frozen conflict’ the phrase ‘such as Transnistria’, so that Transnistria is also mentioned in Recital O.

  Marianne Mikko, on behalf of the PSE Group. – Mr President, Mr Swoboda has already informed you of our amendment, which was about Transnistria.
