– Before the vote on Amendment 271:

  Franziska Katharina Brantner, on behalf of the Verts/ALE Group. – Mr President, the amendment reads as follows: ‘for the purpose of this Regulation, “financial instruments” shall mean Union measures of financial support provided from the budget where authorised in the main sector-specific basic act, in order to address one or more specific policy objectives...’.

(The oral amendment was accepted)

– Before the vote on the legislative resolution:

  Ingeborg Gräßle, Berichterstatterin. − Herr Präsident! Gemäß den Verfahrensregeln unseres Hauses und in Absprache mit den Fraktionen beantrage ich die Rückverweisung dieser Arbeit in die Ausschüsse.

  Janusz Lewandowski, Member of the Commission. − Mr President, we agree, and once again I would like to express my appreciation of the dedication of the rapporteurs, Ms Grässle and Mr Rivellini, for their work on this very complex, technically difficult dossier.
