8.8. Agreement between the EU and Morocco concerning reciprocal liberalisation measures on agricultural products and fishery products (A7-0023/2012 - José Bové) (vote)

– Before the vote:

  José Bové, rapporteur. – (FR) Mr President, ladies and gentlemen, I will be brief. I simply want to say that the report on the free trade agreement bears my name, and as there has been a vote in favour of the agreement within the framework of the Committee on International Trade, the report continues to bear my name, and I urge you to vote against this report. Those who are against this agreement should vote no, not yes. I just wanted to clarify that.

– After the vote:

  José Bové, rapporteur. – (FR) Mr President, in view of the outcome, I submit to the majority and withdraw my name, of course.

In any case, I wish to thank all my colleagues in Parliament who have taken part in the debate, because it is very important to have held a debate on international trade for the first time. We need to continue along those lines. I hope the Commission will take into account the debates that have taken place.
